Spectran Handheld RF Spectrum Analyzers from Kaltman Creations

Nuts About Nets is excited to offer the Spectran series of RF spectrum analyzers from Kaltman Creations. These are the world's first, low-cost, handheld, field RF spectrum analyzers that address channel selection, interference identification, RF system monitoring, testing, and exposure limits. Their extended frequency ranges make them perfect diagnostic tools for analyzing VHF, UHF plus the 2.4x and 5.x GHz ISM bands.

In addition to standard frequency sweep readings and signal strength readouts, the units display markers that highlight the 3 strongest peaks and their associated frequencies. There is also a powerful zoom feature which allows a user to narrow the frequency span to 100KHz. The analyzers will also perform extended data logging and long term peak-hold recording.

The analyzers are sold in a system package that includes an aluminum carrying case, SMA full range antenna, batteries & charger (charger doubles as an AC adaptor), PC-based software for enhanced visual monitoring, a HyperLOG 700MHz to 2.5GHz precision directional antenna, and a mini tri-pod stand. The analyzer's 10 hot keys have been pre-configured to address the more popular US RF bands: wireless microphone, Wi-Fi, assisted listening, Telco / cellular, intercom, and radio / TV broadcast.
